Children’s Privacy Notice

1. Overview

This notice explains how Inteva AI Technologies LLC handles information about the children a parent adds to a family account. It adds to the Privacy Policy. You give your consent for each child when you set up the family account, and you can withdraw it by removing the child.

2. What we collect about a child

We collect only what the service needs:

• the first name, year group and username you give;
• what the child asks Amana AI and the answers, kept encrypted;
• how much the child uses it (number of questions, topics), without their name.

3. What we do not collect

A child never needs an email address or a phone number. We do not show children advertising, sell their information, or use it to build marketing profiles.

4. How it is used

To answer the child’s questions within the controls you set, to keep them safe (safety checks run on every question and answer), and to show you their usage. AI providers process the text of a question only to produce the answer, under contracts that do not let them keep or train on it.

5. What you see as a parent

You can see your children’s usage, set their controls and time limits, and receive safety alerts from your family area. Reading a child’s conversations is off unless Amana AI has turned it on for your family; when it is on, every time a guardian opens a conversation it is recorded with the reason given.

6. Schools

A child’s school account and family account are kept apart. A school never sees the family account. A school can link your login as a parent only with a code you enter yourself.

7. How long we keep it

Conversations are kept for up to six months, or less if you set a shorter period in the controls. Removing a child deletes their conversations and anonymises their account.

8. Your rights

You can see, correct, export or delete your children’s information, and withdraw your consent, at any time from your family area or by writing to info@inteva.ai.
